Have you ever heard a story so many times that you feel like you were actually living in it?

My pops tells this story about a day in Texas when he was delivering mail.

“The limbs on the trees were sagging from the weight of butterflies. They came in so incredibly thick, and they would just lay on your arm. The way you feel when you see them… it takes you out of this reality and into a different world. You’re profoundly moved. A butterfly is just a little thing. But after seeing a migration like that, you realize you never understood how much a little butterfly is connected to everything. It’s remarkable. You never forget it after you see it.”

This pair of earrings is named after my dad, and all the great dads out there who held a full deck of lessons in bravery, adventure, sensitivity, loyalty, enjoying every little thing, and being unafraid to say so. All the love in the world.
